FACTS & CREDENTIALS
The Florida Board of Medicine oversees and makes policies regarding the practice of medicine in Florida. Dr. Kent recently served as Chairman Elect of the Florida Board of Medicine. He was appointed to this position by Governor Jeb Bush in 2001. Dr. Kent also recently served as the Chairman of the Florida Board of Medicine Surgical Care Committee.
Dr. Kent also helps assure excellence in his specialty as a board member of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) . He continues to serve as an oral examiner for the ABFPRS board exam.
 As a leader in his specialty, Dr. Kent is Vice President of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) . He also sits on the AAFPRS Board of Directors.
Dr. Kent continues to serve as a Clinical Associate in facial plastic surgery at the University of Florida School of Medicine.
