BOTOX® Cosmetic can be used to soften "crows feet" around the eyes, and wrinkles in the forehead and between the eyes. Small quantities of highly refined botulinum toxin are injected beneath the skin to weaken the muscle that causes the wrinkles.

What is Botox?

The wrinkles will begin to soften and disappear over a period of a week after the procedure and the effects will last for about three to five months.
Will I need to take off from work after my Botox procedure?
Patients are usually able to immediately return to work and other normal activities after the Botox injection.
What are the risks or complications associated with Botox?
Botox is generally safe and effective though there are potential complications including b ruising, numbness, droopy eyelids, body may become immune, allergic reaction, temporary eyelid droop, nausea, headache, respiratory infection, and flu syndrome.
Does insurance cover the cost of Botox injections?
Botox procedures performed for purely cosmetic purposes are typically not covered by insurance, though some degree of coverage may be available when used for medical purposes such as the treatment of migraines.
